Dunearn Wins 3rd Place in the Singapore International Filmmaking Competition 2013
Dunearn is proud to announce the achievement of a team of five students comprising Castro Jezreel and Yeo Jing Ni (4 Topaz), Long Theng Yih and Darren Chong (4 Sapphire) and Harie Hafiy (4 Opal) for being awarded the 3rd Place in the Singapore International Filmmaking Competition on 29th May 2013.

Information on Term 3 Week 1 Programme and Secondary 4NA/NT ‘N’ Level Preliminary Examination
Dear Parent/Guardian of 4NA/NT students,
We wish to inform you that the Term 3 Week 1 Programme will be held from 1st Jul 2013 (Monday) to 5th Jul 2013 (Friday). In Term 3 Weeks 7 and 8, we will be conducting the Secondary 4NA/NT ‘N’ Level Preliminary Examination from 12th to 21st Aug 2013. A hard copy of the schedule has been given to the pupils. You may also download the letter to parents and schedule under the folder 'Sec 4NA/NT ‘N’ Level Preliminary Examination 2013’ under ‘Forms and Documents’.
Higher Institution and Career Day 2013
To all Sec 4 and 5 students,
Every year, various institution of higher learning, such as ITE and Shatec, Junior Colleges and all the polytechnics take part in this event to share valuable information on post-secondary school education. We have also invited a group of successful ex-students who returned to share their experience in their respective careers.
This year, on 2nd July 2013, various talks and sharing sessions have been organised for our graduating students. Do take this golden opportunity to find out more about the various post-secondary options that are available to you.

The last day of the school's first semester is on 31st May 2013, Friday. Please refer to the schedule and parents' letter of information here for the programme laid out on the last day of school.

NPCC Day 2013
Dunearn Secondary School celebrated the annual National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) Day on 22nd May 2013. It is the day where all members of the Corps gather and commemorate the founding of NPCC.
Congratulations to our former Dunearnite, Mr Lim Zhi Feng, for his excellent performance in ITE!
Our former student, Mr Lim Zhi Feng, went on to pursue his post-secondary education at ITE College Central in 2011 for Nitec in Semiconductor Technology. He has graduated this year with excellent results, achieving the Outstanding Academic Award and Certificate of Merit Award.
We wish him all the best as he pursues a Diploma Course in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic.

111 Fine Art Pieces for Charity Fund-Raiser in Aid of Dunearn Secondary School’s Needy Students (资助德能贫困学生慈善义卖 111件美术作品)
A Charity Art Fund-Raiser, entitled “Sharing from the Heart” will be held from 23 to 27 May 2013 at the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
