Singapore's Total Defence Day

Are you aware that Singapore's Total Defence Day falls on the 15th Feb 2012? Singapore's Total Defence is based on the understanding that besides military wars, a country can also be defeated through wrecking its economic well-being, tearing its society apart, targeting the nation's beliefs and commitment to defence, and the ability to recover from disasters, both natural and man-made.
The Total Defence concept includes five key aspects - Military Defence, Civil Defence, Economic Defence, Social Defence and Psychological Defence. As a fellow Singaporean, let us play our part in defending our country.
