Key Programmes


1. Problem Solving Skills

To develop such skills and competencies in Sec 1student by deliberate re-structuring some of the lessons such that such skills can be easily demonstrated and applied.


2. Problem Based Learning

To allow Sec 2 students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the classrooms into multifactorial problems. This also allow students to pick up other skills such as presentation and research skills.


3. Competition and Trainings

  • To stretch and provide more exposure for students with high ability, students will undergo competition trainings and will take part in
  • Australian Mathematics Competition
  • Singapore Mathematical Olympiad
  • West Zone Mathematics Competition.


4. Real life application and development of interest

To provide opportunities for students to appreciate how Mathematics is applied in our everyday lives and develop a stronger interest in the subject. Such opportunities includes
  • Maths Trails
  • Sec 3 Real-Life application project
  • Tutoring of Primary School students
  • Various Enrichment such as Games and tutoring

  • Australian Mathematics Competition (2010) - 1 Distinction, 11 Credits, 1 Prudence Award
  • Singapore Mathematics Olympiad Competition (2009) - 1 Silver, 8 Honourable Mention
  • Australian Mathematics Competition (2009) - 2 Distinctions, 17 Credits
  • UNSW (Mathematics) - 4 Distinctions, 25 Credits
