Dunearnites Embark On A 1 Day Inter-Disciplinary (Science, Geography And Maths) Learning Trip To Johor, Malaysia
During the first two days of the September break, the Secondary Two Express students embarked on a learning journey to South Johor. Two classes of Secondary Two Express students were brought on each day.
Dunearnites Rank Within Top 5 Best Designed Solar Cars in the Energy Efficient Solar Car Design Competition
Six Secondary 2 Express students from 2 Emerald - Shermaine Lim, Hui Ling, Sabrina, Lydia, Dexter and Danial together with their Teachers-in-Charge, Ms Leong Sweet Lee and Mr Quek Lin Ken, participated in the final round of the Energy Efficient Solar Car Competition at Nanyang Polytechnic on 17th October 2012, Wednesday.

Dunearnites Visit Mathematics Carnival held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic on 28th September 2012
40 Secondary 3 students were chosen to participate in the Mathematics Carnival organised by Ngee Ann Polytechnic School of Interdisciplinary Studies on 28th Sep, Friday. At the carnival, the students sat for an online Mathematics Proficiency Test where their level of Mathematical ability was diagnosed by an adaptive system.
Dunearnites Crowned as Champions for the annual National 'Lensa Bahasa' Video Competition!
A team of Secondary Three Express students made up of Muhammad Azrul Suparman, Munawarah Sukaimi, Nuril Kharnina Kosdiman, Nurul Syazwani Mohd Shukri, Nur Hidayati Zainah and assisted by Harie Hafiy Khairuddin, Muhammad Fa'iz Zaini and Yu Gen En, did the school proud by clinching top honours in the annual National 'Lensa Bahasa' Video Competition, organized by the Ministry Of Education.
Dunearnite Staff SNAPPs into a Day of Innovative Thinking!
On a breezy Monday afternoon in late August, Dunearn staff gathered in the school hall for SNAPP (See New APProaches) or Innovation Day, an event organised to give staff a voice and stake in school improvement.

MOE Financial Assistance Scheme 2013
Dear Students and Parents,
Please note that students who wish to apply for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme for the year 2013 can obtain the application form in hardcopy from the General Office, or download a copy of the form (moe-fas-application-form 2012.pdf) under Forms and Documents.
All application forms must be submitted together with relevant supporting documents to the General Office by 12th October 2012, Friday.
Dunearn’s SJAB won the 1st in First Aid Competition, 6th In National First Aid Competition and 3rd in First Aid Quiz
On 14th of April, the SJAB unit sent two teams made of the Ambulance team and Nursing team to participate in the Intra-zone First Aid Competition.

Environment Champions Educate Dunearnites on Bottle Gardening
Before Term 3 comes to a closure, two Environment Champions, Hui Lun and Shu Qi from 1 Sapphire were given the opportunity to take the ownership on educating their fellow schoolmates on how to plant using bottle gardening.
