Coastal Studies Field Inquiry
A total of 31 Secondary 3 Express Geography Elective students attended their first ever field inquiry studies over at the East Coast Park last Saturday (4th August) morning.
Dunearnites Won the 2nd Position in POA Olympiad 2012
A selected group of Dunearn POA students took part in the POA Olympiad 2012 to compete against various teams from other secondary schools across Singapore in the POA Olympiad Final Quiz Challenge. We are proud to announce that the team comprising our students Chai Qinyu, Chen Hui Hui, Chang Yen Ying and Felicia Koh clinched the 2nd position in the quiz. Well done, Dunearnites!
Dunearn Secondary School Won the Joint HPB-MOE's CHERISH Award (Bronze)
The Joint HPB - MOE's CHERISH (Championing Efforts Resulting in Improved School Health) Award was established in 2001 to encourage and recognise schools for promoting healthy living among social health of both students and staff by the joint effort between Singapore's Health Promotion Board and the Ministry of Education.

Secondary 4 D&T pupils often experience difficulties in designing ideas to solve a given real life problem. One of Dunearn’s on-going efforts in striving for Teaching & Learning excellence through the use of ICT has also been adopted to enhance the designing process of students in D&T classes.
Using the Exploring-Reflecting-Verifying Learning Framework in implementing ICT-based lessons for Self-directed or Collaborative Learning
As part of DSS's continuing efforts to engage students and develop deeper understanding into the Secondary 3 Mathematics, our teachers Joey Yeo and Ms Charmaine Goh designed a "Game-based self-directed learning in Mathematics" lesson to facilitate this.
