Objectives

• Work with the school management to support the school’s vision and goals
• Work with the teachers and students to create a greater sense of belonging to the school

The Dunearn Parent Support Group (PSG) aims to partner and support the school in developing the character and intellect of their children.

This year, the PSG organized a well-received Parenting Workshop ‘How to Help Children Cope with Stress’ conducted by trainers Ms Ong Soo Lin and Dr Cecilia Soong, Guidance Specialists from Ministry of Education.

Parents this year also generously donated prizes and refreshments for several school functions, as well as biscuits for the Night Study Programme, to show their support for the students who were preparing for major examinations.

An enjoyable year-end potluck lunch gathering was also held for all PSG families to relax and get to know one another better.

The PSG hopes to do even more to support the school for 2013.
