School Family Education
What is School Family Education (SFE)?
SFE is a holistic family learning programme aims at equipping parents with effective parenting skills, enhancing the family life of school staff, and inculcating students with positive values and attributes towards the marriage and family.
Since it started in 2002, SFE has reached out to more than 2 million people. Almost all parents who have experienced the SFE programme affirm its effectiveness and would recommend it to other parents.
Most educators agree that positive parental involvement has a tremendous impact on students’ self-esteem, enthusiasm to learn and overall success. It’s important for you, mostly busy parents to make time to get involved in your child’s education if you are interested in your child’s success in life.
Come and join the monthly talks (Mandarin and English Session) in school to enhance your parenting skills and strengthen your family relationship.
Education begins at home, Success begins with you.
To be in your children’s memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today.

She uses her vast experiences to share some very practical techniques parents can take to enjoy quality family lives. She helps parents to stay engaged and connected with their children. Seizing every opportunity to cultivate timeless values and guide children’s lives in this technology age.
2. Time Management Skills
Time management is an essential skill that we all should try to master. It allows for more to be done within the limited 24 hours we have each day. Being able to distinguish between urgent and important activities, together with the setting of goals, participants can become more efficient and focused. This will help to reduce stress levels and improve family relationships as we will no longer just be caught up with routine and trivial tasks which do not help to move us toward our goals.

"Raising Resilient Children - Strawberry & Coconut type of children, which one is yours? Celine uses very concrete, daily, easy to understand concepts and illustrations for parents to realise what type the truth of many children today. They are strawberries (so soft that can be crushed with 2 fingers) and how, we as parents transform them into a coconut (can survive all ups and down and still taste the sweetness of life)! I've never heard this, so a great lesson I've learnt. Great Fun with lots of humor: Enjoyable and thank you!” – Gillian Tan (General Manager of SEA and mother of a 10-year boy)
"I truly enjoy your talk on Resilient Parents raise Resilient Children. You’re spot on when you shared with us it is our belief system that governs how we see the world and how we react to situations. Your openness in sharing how your personal childhood and life experiences shaped your belief system resonated with many parents in the room. Some even shared their own personal unpleasant childhood experiences that they wish not to pass down to their kids. Your ability to conduct the talk at very personal level using many life examples in English, Mandarin and Bahasa, struck a chord with those who were present in the room. Am sure, many parents like me have benefited from your talk. We look forward to your next Parenting talk.” – Ally Ng ( Director/ Co-founder of Oxbridge and Our Fun Place, and Mother of 2 kids aged 10 and 6)
